It is with bitter-sweet feeling that I announce to my clients, colleagues, and friends of the firm that I will be closing my law practice due to my acceptance of a position as the Director of Compliance with A Woman's Life Insurance Society in Port Huron, Michigan.  This was an unexpected opportunity that arose and it was not one that I was able to pass upon. 

Please note that The White-Thomas Law Firm, PLLC as of January 25, 2013 will no longer have regular office hours.  Our current office hours are by appointment only and very limited.  If you are a current client and would like to retrieve your file from our office rather than have it transferred to Ms. Elizabeth A. Eggert of Eggert Law, please call our office at 906-295-1277 and leave your name, phone number and your request  and someone will return your call within 48 hours.  During that call they will make an appointment with you to pick up your file at a specific date and time. 

Effective April 20, 2013, our office will no longer be in operation and all existing client information will be transferred to Ms. Eggert.  In an effort to make this transition as smooth as possible for my clients, i have had many lengthy discussions with Ms. Eggert.  I feel confident that the aspects of services, client care and community priorities that made my clients comfortable are very much a part of the culture at Eggert Law.

Elizabeth looks forward to providing my clients with the same level of outstanding support that was the hallmark of my practice.  In order to provide my clients an opportunity to meet and learn more about the new firm and this transition, you are invited to an open house on Saturday, March 9th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Best Western Conference Room, 581 West 3 Mile Road, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. 

If you wish to have Ms. Eggert service your estate planning needs moving forward, it is not necessary to pick up your file as it will automatically be transferred to Ms. Eggert and she will continue to service you in the same manner in which you are accustomed.
